Executive Chef Tummanoon Punchun joined The Boathouse in 1988 and became Executive Chef in 1994. A well-known Chef of Thai and French cuisine, he polishes his skills regularly during travels in Europe and Asia. His weekend culinary workshop established itself as one of the most popular Thai cooking schools in the country. Praised by critics in publications as the Times of London, The New York Times and the Los Angeles Times, he published his most popular recipes in the Boathouse Cookbook. Over the years, numerous appearances as Guest Chef and at Thai cooking exhibitions in Europe and Asia made Chef Tummanoon one of the most sought-after Chefs in Thailand and establish his position as an expert Thai and French Gourmet Chef.

Chef Jean-Noël Lumineau joined Mom Tri’s Restaurants as a consultant in September 2008. The first Maître-Cuisinier de France working in Thailand, his coveted title indicates chefs of the highest classification; there are only about 300 chefs with this title worldwide.

Chef Lumineau became a member of this elite culinary association over 12 years ago. The mission of the Maîtres Cuisiniers de France is to maintain and promote the quality and prestige of French cuisine with the added goal of training and nurturing young culinary professionals. The recognition distinguishes Chef Lumineau as belonging to a renowned cultural tradition and as a professional whose technique attains the level of art.
